Deploying 25 Dairy Farm Workers to New Zealand with Language Preparation

The Challenge

A dairy farm employer in New Zealand needed 25 workers with practical farming capability and readiness for overseas deployment. The candidates identified by Binamandiri already had the technical background required for dairy farm work, including familiarity with day-to-day farm routines and physically demanding agricultural tasks. The main obstacle was English language ability. While the candidates were technically capable, many did not yet have the level of spoken English needed to communicate effectively in a New Zealand farm environment. Language readiness was essential for workplace instructions, safety communication, daily coordination, and overall adaptation on-site. The client needed workers who could not only perform the job, but also function confidently in an English-speaking work environment. The project therefore required a solution that addressed the language gap directly without losing momentum on recruitment and mobilisation.
